The development respects the small urban scale of Cullen, which has a planned town centre, a sea-town fishing village to the waterfront and is surrounded by more recent bungalow development.

 

Seafield Road is the principal road into the village centre. The retention and enhancement of Judy’s Lane provides easy pedestrian access to Glebe Park Crescent and maintains the existing service way-leave. With gables abutting it, it takes on the character of a pend in the sea-town, again providing a richer pedestrian experience.
